LG G7 ThinQ has not yet officially been introduced. But the company decided not to wait for the announcement and shared the characteristics of the screen novelties.

What was told

As previously expected, LG G7 ThinQ will receive a 6.1-inch LCD Super Bright display with QHD + resolution (3120 × 1440p) and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. The smartphone screen will have a cutout like in the Asus ZenFone 5 / 5z or in the still unannounced OnePlus 6 . But it can be hidden , as in Huawei P20 / P20 Pro. In addition, LG's new LCD panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. Also, the smartphone will receive the "brightness boost" function, which can increase the display brightness to 1000 nits.

In addition to the display characteristics, it is known that the top-end chip Snapdragon 845 will be responsible for the performance of the device. The smartphone will also have 4 GB of RAM, 64/128 GB of ROM, water protection according to IP67 / 68 standard, dual 16 Mp camera , dedicated DAC and a separate button to start Google Voice Assistant.

Price and when to wait

The presentation of the novelty will be held on May 2 in New York. The cost of the smartphone is $ 850- $ 950.
