Fairphone has introduced Fairbuds: TWS headphones with modular design, recycled materials, Bluetooth 5.3, ANC and a price of €149

Fairphone is expanding its product range. The European manufacturer will now produce not only smartphones, but also TWS-headphones.

Here's What We Know

The first model of headphones was named Fairbuds. Like the brand's smartphones, Fairbuds received a modular design, which allows you to independently replace some parts of the device. For example, the battery in the case. To replace the parts, you will need a Phillips #00 Phillips screwdriver and a forging tool. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not disclose the price of the parts yet. By the way, just like Fairphone, Fairbuds are completely made of recycled materials. The headphones do not contain electronic waste.

As for the specifications, the model received an in-channel design and 11 mm drivers. The headphone comes with Bluetooth 5.3 and the ability to connect to two devices at the same time. The novelty features ANC, sensors for automatic music playback or pause, and six microphones (3 in each earpiece). The model received IP54 protection and autonomy up to 6 hours. A charging case will increase this figure to 20 hours. Fairbuds are charged via USB-C port.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Fairbuds can already be bought on the official website of the manufacturer for €149/£140. The novelty is available in white and black colours.
