Apple's senior vice president confirms that all iPhone 16 models have 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence

In a new interview, Apple's Senior Vice President of Hardware Technology Johnny Srogyi confirmed that all iPhone 16 models are equipped with 8 GB of RAM.

Here's What We Know

This was an important detail of the presentation of the new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, which the company recently introduced as the first models fully integrated with Apple Intelligence based on A18 and A18 Pro chips.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are available with 6GB of RAM, while the Pro versions have 8GB. This year, Apple decided to increase the amount of RAM for all iPhone 16 models, allowing each of them to support Apple Intelligence features. Srogy also noted that the increase in memory will have a positive impact on the performance of other applications, such as AAA games.

Apple usually avoids disclosing specifications, but this time the company made an exception, explaining that optimising the performance of devices requires such a decision.
