New G-Shock MRG-B5000BA-1JR with titanium case and blue accents appears in Casio's online listing

Casio is probably preparing for the official announcement of the new MRG-B5000BA-1JR model as part of the premium MR-G series.

This watch combines a titanium case with a black DLC coating and elegant blue accents that reflect the traditional Japanese painting technique "Aizumi" (藍墨).
The watch is made of DAT55G titanium alloy, which is renowned for its high scratch resistance and lightness. The case consists of 25 separate elements, each of which has been polished by hand.




The model is equipped with such advanced features as Tough Solar energy saving, Multi-Band 6 atomic clock, Bluetooth connectivity and water resistance up to 200 metres. Other useful options include Super Illuminator LED backlighting, five alarms, a stopwatch, and the ability to display the time for 39 cities.




According to information from Yahoo Japan, the MRG-B5000BA-1JR is expected to cost ¥495,000 (about $3,750). At the time of publication, although the model has already appeared in the online listing, it will not be available for purchase until the official announcement from Casio. Therefore, we have to wait for additional details about the release.
Recently, Casio announced the G-Shock MRG-B2100R-2A for the UK with Bluetooth, solar panel, and titanium case.
