Sony has apologised for the massive PSN outage and will give all PlayStation Plus subscribers five extra days of subscription time

Sony has fixed the biggest PlayStation Network (PSN) outage in 14 years, which lasted almost 24 hours and prevented many gamers from using PlayStation services, launching games, buying them and viewing trophies.
Here's What We Know
Sony published a post announcing the full restoration of PSN and streamlined the cause of the incident as an "operational issue."
The company promised not to allow similar situations in the future and as an apology will give all PlayStation Plus users five extra days of subscription, which will be added automatically to subscribers of all tariffs.
Network services have fully recovered from an operational issue. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank the community for their patience. All PlayStation Plus members will automatically receive an additional 5 days of service.
