In 2024, South Korean studio Shift Up achieved record financial performance thanks to the success of its post-apocalyptic action game Stellar Blade. The game, released in April 2024 exclusively for PlayStation 5, grossed $43.2 million and continues to show stable sales.

After a successful launch on PlayStation 5, Shift Up plans to expand its audience by releasing a PC version of Stellar Blade in 2025. The developers expect that the game will show even better results on this platform, given the growing popularity of Steam and the success of other AAA projects on PC.
It is worth noting that another project of the studio, the mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke, generated about $105.4 million in revenue, which is approximately 70% of the company's total profit.
Overall, 2024 was an extremely successful year for Shift Up, and the studio plans to expand its team by hiring about 100 new employees by the end of 2025.
