Animatronic horror is back: the first teaser for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is revealed
At CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas, the first teaser trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 was presented, which promises even more spooky moments with animatronics. The film will be released in cinemas on 5 December 2025.
Here's What We Know
Director Emma Tammi continues to helm the project, with Josh Hutcherson and Elizabeth Lail reprising their lead roles from the first film. The first film, released in 2023, was a box office hit, grossing nearly $300 million.
Producer Jason Blum emphasised that, unlike the original film, the sequel will be available exclusively in cinemas and will not be released simultaneously on streaming platforms.
The official slogan of the film: "Everyone can survive for five nights. This time there will be no other chances", which hints at an even more intense plot.
