Galaxy S25 Edge shoots 8K video and supports 10-bit HDR

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge, a unique smartphone that combines an ultra-thin body, advanced materials and flagship performance.
Here's What We Know
One of the main features of this smartphone is the 200-megapixel main camera, which is also used in the older Galaxy S25 Ultra model. However, despite the ultra-thin body, the company has managed to incorporate this powerful technology, providing high quality images and videos.
The Galaxy S25 Edge camera has an optical image stabilisation (OIS) sensor, Super QPD autofocus and a wide F1.7 aperture. Samsung engineers have improved the design, developed new optics and optimised the module layout. As a result, the camera has become 18% thinner without sacrificing image quality. The camera is capable of taking great photos and videos even in low light conditions.
Thanks to the 2x optical zoom through the built-in sensor technology, the S25 Edge can capture high-quality close-up shots without the need for a separate telephoto module. In addition, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus complements the main camera.
The front camera is also 12 megapixels, which is the standard for the entire Galaxy S25 line. All three cameras support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second, while the main camera can shoot 8K video at 30 frames per second. This allows users to capture videos with exceptional detail and clarity.

Galaxy S25 Edge also supports 10-bit Super HDR video recording, which is based on Google's Ultra HDR format. This provides even greater depth of colour and contrast. In addition, the phone supports Samsung LOG recording, which allows professionals to easily edit videos and adjust colours in post-production.
