Ubisoft has quietly updated the parkour system in Assassin's Creed Shadows as part of the latest Title Update 4 without mentioning it in the official notes. In a post on X, the studio announced that the developers have made minor changes that improve the vertical height retention while running over obstacles. The first to notice the innovation was YouTube blogger Ropotopolous, who is known in the game's community.

Ubisoft noted that the parkour team could not resist implementing this improvement before the next update. More changes are expected, including the ability to jump off walls while overcoming them. These improvements should appear in the next update, scheduled for the end of May.

The new features include new options for jumping from a height, a vertical jump to a ledge, and improvements to the photo mode. In June, players are promised a new storyline, additional difficulty levels, updated Animus content, and more convenient features such as headgear display in cut scenes.

Meanwhile, rumours are spreading about the possibility of multiplayer, as datamining has revealed references to PvP maps and co-operative elements.
