Starfield recently went into early access on Valve's platform, and at the same time, an update was released for the game. The main changes include a graphics mode with very low settings, support for Creations up to 2 GB in size, the ability to combine several Creations into one package, and a number of technical fixes.

Here's What We Know

Fixed issues include: rare cases of movement blocking during dialogues, potential crashes in the main Andrafon outpost when editing structures, and quick saves disappearing if they were created too quickly. A frame rate drop that occurred when using the scanner during long game sessions has also been fixed.

The update also brought expanded resolution support: in addition to the usual 16:9, 16:10 and 21:9 formats, 32:9 and 32:10 are now available. For a deeper immersion, players will be able to see celestial bodies even after entering and leaving buildings.

Where To Play

Starfield is currently available on Xbox Series and PC. A PlayStation 5 version is also rumoured to be in development, with an announcement expected later this year.
