Bulletstorm and Painkiller (2005) authors are in big trouble: People Can Fly has cancelled two more games and is planning another wave of layoffs

The series of problems continues at the famous Polish studio People Can Fly, which is well known to fans of shooters based on Bulletstorm, Painkiller, Gears of War: Judgment and Outriders. Just six months ago, the company celebrated Project Victoria and conducted a wave of layoffs, but unfortunately, it was not the last.
Here's What We Know
People Can Fly CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski revealed that the decision has been made to cancel two more games codenamed Project Gemini and Project Bifrost. In addition, employees who worked on these projects will be fired.
Sebastian Wojciechowski attributed this move to the publisher's failure to provide People Can Fly with detailed information about the content in accordance with the publishing agreement, as well as the lack of information from the Publisher regarding its willingness to continue or discontinue production of Project Gemini.

The publisher of Project Gemini was supposed to be Square Enix, with whom Poles still has a strained relationship after the release of Outriders, for which Square Enix never paid royalties.
There has been absolutely no information about Project Bifrost.
No word yet on how many employees will be laid off, nor on People Can Fly's future plans.
It is known that at the moment the studio is developing a prototype game for Bulletstorm and Painkiller authors are creating a prototype game based on one of the PlayStation franchises: People Can Fly has signed a deal with Sony, while People Can Fly is also working with Microsoft, being a direct participant in the development of the shooter Gears of War: E-Day together with The Coalition studio.
