The State of Unreal 2025 presentation has kicked off, celebrating the capabilities of Epic Game's Unreal Engine 5 engine. And its beginning caused a huge hype, as the cinematic trailer of The Witcher 4 was shown.
Here's What We Know
The audience was shown an incredibly spectacular and realistic video created on the game's engine. The video lasts for two minutes and shows how the carriage of a traveller is attacked by a huge monster, breaks it into pieces, and all who are inside - die. After a while, Ciri arrives on the scene and starts tracking down the monster. Apparently, she has been contracted to destroy it.
The clip shows an incredible level of graphics, which was achieved, thanks to the advanced technology of Unreal Engine 5.
By the way, The Witcher 4 will be the first CD Projekt RED game on this engine.
The game is expected to be released by 2027.
