Yesterday (13 June) saw the release of The Alters, an unusual game from the creators of This War of Mine and Frostpunk from Polish studio 11 bit.
Critics, who were the first to get acquainted with the adventure game, were absolutely delighted with it, but it seemed that the complex concept of the game would prevent it from gaining popularity among the general public. However, this fear was in vain.

The story of Jan Dolski, who finds himself on a dangerous uninhabited planet and in order to survive creates alternative versions (alters) of himself, does not leave indifferent and causes a wide range of emotions: from sincere joy to sadness or indignation.
The Alters is a complex game that poses many challenging tasks, but generously rewards with vivid impressions for their fulfilment. Globally, the main theme of the game is the answer to the question of what a person could have become if he had made different decisions in his life and, as we can see, this theme stirs the minds of players.
Gamers have left 92% positive reviews, while not singling out individual aspects of the game, as all of them are performed at a high level.
The Alters is available on MS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, as well as Game Pass.
