Xiaomi released the new Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 robot vacuum cleaner, which is already on sale in the Chinese market. The device combines a compact design, high power, and intelligent features focused on efficient and safe cleaning.

The device is especially relevant for apartments with thresholds, carpets, and pets.
The body thickness of the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 is only 7.9 cm, which allows the vacuum cleaner to easily penetrate under furniture and into hard-to-reach areas. The model is equipped with a powerful motor with a suction power of up to 23,000 Pa and a brush with two blades, which prevents hair and pet fur from winding up.
One of the key features of the device is an AI-based object recognition system, which identifies up to 130 types of objects, including socks, wires, and scales. Importantly, the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 can overcome thresholds up to 40 mm high.
For wet cleaning, a bionic system that simulates manual floor washing with three water supply modes is used. The Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 is available in two versions: a standard one with a regular water tank and an extended one equipped with an automatic water supply and discharge system through a docking station. The device price ranges from $450 to 520 (converted from yuan) depending on the configuration.
