More than once it has appeared on the network that the developers of WhatsApp are going to add to the application the ability to synchronize chats between Android and iOS. And now, finally, this feature has been announced.

According to the WABetaInfo portal, the introduction appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp 2.21.9.7. So far, testing has begun only on Android devices. However, this feature will soon appear on iOS. By the way, it is not yet known how the developers implemented this function in Android. Perhaps WhatsApp will use Google Drive cloud storage for data transfer.

Right now, chat transfer in WhatsApp only works within one platform. Of course, there are third-party apps for data transfer, but in most cases they are paid and do not work correctly.
