Xiaomi introduced MiJia Smart Mosquito Repellant 2: a smart fumigator with Bluetooth and voice assistant for $9

Today Xiaomi announced on the crowdfunding platform Youpin a new product under the brand name MiJia - Smart Mosquito Repellant 2.

What we know

As the name suggests, this is the second generation of the fumigator. The novelty has got Bluetooth and voice assistant XiaoAI. Thanks to this, you can control the device can be controlle from a smartphone or by voice commands.

A tetrafluthrin plate is used to kill mosquitoes. The repellent is designed for 1080 hours. If you use it 8 hours a day, it will last for 4-5 months.

According to the manufacturer, the fumigator is designed for a room of 28 m². It is worth noting the built-in fan, which disperses the repellent evenly. The device is powered by two AA batteries or via the USB-C port.

Price and when to expect

MiJia Smart Mosquito Repellant 2 is already being sold on the Youpin crowdfunding platform for $9. When the new product goes free on sale, the price will increase to $11.
