Insider: On June 2, Huawei will unveil MatePad 2 tablets and Watch 3 smartwatches with HarmonyOS on board

Information has appeared on the network more than once that Huawei will hold a presentation of new devices next month. Now this has been confirmed by one more insider.

What we know

According to the Weibo informant, the event will take place on June 2. The main highlights of the program will be the Huawei MatePad 2 and Huawei MatePad Pro 2. According to previous leaks, the base model will have a mid-range MediaTek processor, a display with FHD resolution at 120 Hz, support for an M-Pen stylus, four Harman Kardon speakers, and a fast charging for 40 watts. Huawei MatePad Pro 2, in turn, will feature a flagship Kirin chip, Samsung's 2K AMOLED screen and 66W fast charging.

Also two smart watches are expected at the presentation next month: Huawei Watch 3 and Huawei Watch 3 Pro. They should have round screens, 46mm cases and eSIM support. By the way, all four new products should come with the original HarmonyOS operating system on.
