Tomorrow — April 16th — marks the release of one of the most unusual shooters of recent years — Mouse: P.I. For Hire. This game from the Polish studio Fumi Games combines the aesthetic of classic 1930s Disney cartoons and the familiar noir atmosphere, while also maintaining a sense of parody.

Moreover, the creators creatively blend 3D graphics with 2D sprites, resulting in a great picture without heavy system demands.

The game has generated significant public interest, and on the eve of its release, the developers released an atmospheric cinematic trailer. In it, the main character Jack Pepper, a private detective battling gangsters and corrupted authorities in the city of Mouseburg, explains how he got involved in another dangerous investigation.

Critics have already had a chance to try Mouse: P.I. For Hire and were pleased with the game. They acknowledged that the shooter is not perfect, with some elements conflicting with each other and some technical issues remaining, but overall it is an incredibly atmospheric, stylish, unconventional, and fun game that is sure to provide bright impressions and entertain for several evenings — the playthrough lasts from 12 to 20 hours depending on the play style.

The shooter scored 82 points on Metacritic and 83 points with 93% recommendations on Opencritic.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire will be available on PC and PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles of both the current and previous generations. You can find out more about the system requirements in our article.
