Lenovo Unveils First Gaming Smartphone in Four Years: Meet the Sleek Legion Y70
Lenovo is actively expanding the presence of the Legion gaming brand in the gadget market. As we previously reported, the Taiwanese manufacturer will present two new tablets, the Legion Y900 11 and Y900 13, this May. However, it has become known that Lenovo will also announce the first gaming smartphone since 2022.
What is known
A teaser of the Legion Y70 (2026) has been published on the Chinese social network Weibo.
In terms of design, it has not undergone significant changes and continues the style of the previous model from four years ago, yet it looks more like a flagship. The poster features a square camera module, assumed to have three sensors (likely not the most powerful ones - after all, it's a gaming smartphone) and an LED flash.
The Lenovo Legion Y70 is depicted in two body colors - silver and black, with the large "Legion" lettering almost covering the entire back panel. A side button is also noticeable, likely intended for quick use of AI functions.
The official presentation of the Legion Y70 will take place on May 19 at a large-scale event dedicated to new Lenovo and Motorola gadgets.
