Lenovo has released another smartphone under the legendary American brand Motorola. The new product is called Motorola Edge (2021). It will keep up with the Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro, Edge 20 Lite and Edge 20 Fusionmodels announced this summer.
The smartphone features a 144Hz FHD+ LCD IPS panel with a small hole for a 32MP front-facing camera at the top center. What's interesting, the official renders attached at the beginning of this post don't show a selfie camera.
Motorola Edge (2021) is powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor, which turned out to be much more popular than the Snapdragon 780G. The single-chip system is complemented by 8GB of RAM and the storage has a 256GB capacity. The capacity of the built-in battery was 5,000mAh. There is 30-watt charging via wire.
The smartphone has a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple main camera without telephoto lens and OIS. The biometric sensor is placed on the right side of the body. Also note the IP52 splash protection, NFC and Android 11 operating system.
Price and availability
It is hard to call the novelty cheap, even despite the discount for first buyers. The Motorola Edge (2021) is priced at $700. You will be able to buy the smartphone for $500 at the start of sales. The model will be available on the market on September 2, 2021.
