Honor started to create its own sub-brands after separation from Huawei

Not so long ago, Honor was a sub-brand of Huawei, but now that it has emerged from under its wing and gained independence, and intends to create its own brands itself.

What is known

This is reported on social media by insider @RODENT950. According to he said Honor has registered a sub-brand, Xingyao Terminal Co. Ltd.

Unfortunately, no details about it yet, but rumor has it will be a new wearable device brand. Perhaps Xingyao will be a sub-brand for the Chinese market, as global may have problems with the pronunciation of its name.

By the way, there is nothing surprising in creation of sub-brands: for example, Xiaomi has Redmi and POCO, OPPO - Realme and OnePlus, Vivo has iQOO, ZTE - Nubia and Red Magic. This strategy allows for positioning itself and competing in almost all market segments. Especially, Honor has big plans: the company recently returned to the premium segment with flagships Honor Magic 3, Honor Magic 3 Pro and Honor Magic 3 Pro+ and  Honor intends to compete with Apple and win back its share of the smartphone market.
