Samsung revealed Galaxy Book Fold 17: a laptop with a flexible OLED screen and a sub-screen camera like the Galaxy Z Fold 3

Korean manufacturer Samsung during event IMID 2021 (International Meeting for Information Displays) showed not only a flexible smartphonethat folds on both sides, but also an unusual laptop.

The device has been named Galaxy Book Fold 17. It is a laptop with one large flexible OLED screen. In the unfolded state, the diagonal of the panel is 17 inches. In laptop mode, the screen shrinks to 13 inches.

August 31, 2021 . The other interesting thing about this device is under-screen camera. Incidentally, the same is now installed in the recently released foldable smartphone Galaxy Fold 3.

When to expect

Unfortunately, the release date of the new product has not yet been announced by the Korean manufacturer, but presumably such a laptop will be released in the first quarter of 2022.
