The Xiaomi 11T will be unveiled on the global market as early as next week. In time, the smartphone will have a Chinese clone, which will be called Redmi K40S.

What is known?

In September 2020, the manufacturer announced the Xiaomi Mi 10T powered by Snapdragon 865, with a 144Hz IPS screen, 64MP camera and a 5000mAh battery. A month and a half later, a Chinese version came out in the form of Redmi K30S, which became the world's cheapest Snapdragon 865-powered smartphone. A year later, the situation will be repeated in the new generation.

Redmi K40S will be the Chinese equivalent of Xiaomi 11T. The upcoming novelty is promised Snapdragon 870 chipset, made on the norms of 7-nanometer technology. The main camera will feature a 50-megapixel image sensor.

In the smartphone we will see an OLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate format FHD+ Diagonal will be 6.7 inches. It will go on sale with MIUI 12.5 (possibly Enhanced) firmware based on Android 11 operating system.

When to expect?

Xiaomi 11T will be unveiled on September 15, 2021. The Redmi K40S is expected to premiere early in the fourth quarter. The price of the upcoming new product has not been specified yet.

Recall, the Redmi K30S launch was timed to coincide with the 11.11 sale, and the promotional price was about $360 in the base modification. Meanwhile, the European variant of the Xiaomi Mi 10T was priced from €499.
