SpaceX sends first space tourists into orbit

The US company SpaceX has successfully launched the Inspiration4 mission, in which a Falcon 9 rocket with a Crew Dragon spacecraft sent the first tourists into space.

Inspiration4 is the first orbital flight with participation of exclusively civilians. There are no astronauts aboard Crew Dragon. The team was led by Jared Isaacman, CEO of Shift4 Payments. Along with him went into orbit educator Shan Proctor, Air Force veteran Christopher Sembroski and physician assistant Haley Arsenault, who will be the first person in space with a prosthetic.

The entire crew is feeling well. Crew Dragon will stay at an altitude of about 580 km for three days. During the mission, the effects of space flight on people who have not received special training before going into space will be analysed.
