Xiaomi's top-of-the-line door lock costs as much as an inexpensive flagship

Over the weekend, Xiaomi announced its top-of-the-line door lock, which is equipped with NFC, a fingerprint scanner, a 3D face recognition system and a display. On October 12, the manufacturer announced the price of the new product.

The device has a long name Xiaomi Face Recognition Smart Door Lock X. The model has already gone on sale at a price of $465, but only for first-time buyers. In the future, the recommended price of the door lock will be increased to $510.

Note that for this money you can buy the flagship smartphone powered by Snapdragon 888 processor. For example, Redmi K40 Pro in the 8/256GB modification costs $510, while the 6/128GB version costs only $435.
