Aven Colony is a strategy game where you have to build your own space colony on the alien planet Aven Prime. The game has both a company mode, where you will be "led by the hand", teaching you the basics of the game, and a sandbox mode. To survive, you'll need to control every aspect of the townspeople's lives, whether it's a sudden famine or a viral fungus that has infiltrated the vents and can infect the population. The game received 8.1 out of 10 on Metacritic. Players appreciated the good stylized graphics and the large choice of ways to develop the city.
Beautiful, durable and nicely made, this Aven Colony is a star among building strategies. Although it copies many things from lesser known games, it has managed to keep its own and worthy face. - written by Games.cz
