Bloomberg: Huawei has found a way to circumvent U.S. sanctions, the company will license its smartphones to partners

According to the US publication Bloomberg, Huawei seems to have found a rescue for its mobile division.

What is known

According to the source, Huawei plans to transfer the license for production of smartphones to partners. That is, new products will come out with a design and software developed by Huawei, but under a different name. Such a move, in theory, would help Huawei bypass U.S. sanctions and allow the company to once again use American components in its devices, including 5G processors Qualcomm.

The first to get such a license may be a division of the Chinese state-owned company Postal and Telecommunications Appliance. Also smartphones Huawei may start producing by Xnova, which now sells some models of the Nova line. Huawei also plans to license telecommunications equipment manufacturer TD Tech.

According to Bloomberg, negotiations are still ongoing and this is not the final list of partners. Naturally, Huawei has not yet officially commented on the rumors.
