MediaTek Dimensity 7000 will be built on 5nm process technology and will support charging up to 75W

MediaTek recently introduced the flagship processor Dimensity 9000, and is now preparing to release more one chip of this series.

What is known

The novelty will be called MediaTek Dimensity 7000. According to the leak, the chipset will be built using TSMC's 5-nanometer process technology. It will become a simplified version of the top model.

The SoC is credited with a built-in 5G modem, as well as eight cores: four high-performance 2.75 GHz and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 @ 2.0 GHz. New graphics video accelerator should respond Mali-G510 MC6. Also Dimensity 7000 will receive support for fast charging with power up to 75 watts. 

When to expect

There is no release date for Dimensity 7000 yet, but according to rumors, it will be shown in December or January. It will compete with the Snapdragon 870.
