Chinese insider Digital Chat Station continues to reveal details about MediaTek's new Dimensity 7000 processor.

What told

So, as previously assumed, the chipset will be built using TSMC's 5nm technology. The novelty will receive a graphics accelerator Mali-G510 MC6 and eight cores: four high-performance Cortex-A78s with a maximum clock speed of 2.75 GHz and four energy efficient ones at 2.0 GHz.

The SoC will support fast charging up to 75W. In addition, smartphones based on it will be able to install FHD + displays with a refresh rate of 168 Hz or QHD + displays with a frequency of 120 Hz. Dimensity 7000 will also work with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

As for the benchmark tests, in them, according to an insider, the Dimensity 7000 will produce at or slightly more than the Snapdragon 870.
