Toyota recently unveiled its first electric car bZ4X, and now he is preparing to release one more novelty under by this brand.

What is known 

According to Automotive News Europe, the Japanese have teamed up with Chinese automaker BYD to jointly release an affordable model. The report says it will be a small electric sedan with a price tag of around 200,000 yuan, or $ 30,000. That is, the novelty will compete with the future cheapest Tesla electric car.

Unfortunately, there are no technical characteristics of the car yet. It is also unknown when the release of the car will take place, but preliminary, the novelty will be shown in 2022.

If you, suddenly, did not know BYD is one of the largest electric vehicle manufacturers in the world. Company famous for its lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are much smaller than lithium-ion. Most likely, it is them that Toyota wants to get for its future car.
