NFT Content For Ghost Recon Breakpoint Expected To Fail - Ubisoft Sells 15 Items For Less Than $ 400

As expected, the NFT items created for Ghost Recon Breakpoint have not become popular with gamers. For a week, Ubisoft was unable to earn even $ 400.

Items for a shooter in the form of non-fungible tokens are "cosmetics" that do not affect the gameplay. Ubisoft has named the NFT platform Quartz. Tokens are currently only available in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

On the day of the announcement video about the launch of the NFT platform collected 12,000 dislikes with 700 likes. The company later announced that it would be giving away 250 NFTs to gamers who would be the first to play the game for 600 hours. The news was also greeted with little enthusiasm.

In general, the campaign failed as expected. Ubisoft sold only 15 non-fungible tokens out of nearly 2,300 in a week. Information about this appeared on December 20. At the same time, not a single NFT was sold during December 19. The total earnings of the company amounted to $ 396. It didn't even recoup the studio's $ 733 NFT item costs.
