Insider: Samsung has postponed the release date of the flagship smartphones Galaxy S22

Remember we recently wrote that Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy S22 line of smartphones on February 8? So now an insider said that the release of new products had to be postponed.

What is known

According to Jon Prosser, due to problems with the supply of components, the start of pre-orders for smartphones was postponed to February 9, but the start of sales from February 18 to February 25.

Pre-order is now scheduled for February 9, 2022

General availability is now February 25, 2022

Sources are citing a pretty significant supply chain issue.

As a reminder, there will be three models in the S22 line of smartphones: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra (aka Galaxy S22 Note). The base is credited with 6.06-inch display, triple main camera 50 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP and a 3700 mAh battery. The middle one will receive a 6.55-inch screen, the same camera and a 4500 mAh battery. The eldest, in turn, will be able to boast of a curved 6.81-inch AMOLED display, 108 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP + 10 MP quad camera, 5000 mAh battery, glass back and S Pen stylus support.
