Amazon Fire Max 11: Amazon's biggest and most powerful tablet with 14 hours of battery life and starting at $230

Amazon has unveiled its top-of-the-range tablet, the Amazon Fire Max 11. It is the largest and most powerful tablet in the manufacturer's range to date.

The Fire Max 11 features a 2.2GHz octa-core processor combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. Amazon doesn't specify the specific type of processor, but claims that the novelty is 50 per cent more powerful than the previous model. The tablet also has good battery life, with up to 14 hours on a single charge.

The Amazon Fire Max 11 gets an 11-inch display with 2000×1200 pixels resolution, two 8 MP cameras, a fingerprint scanner and an aluminium body. According to the manufacturer, the tablet is three times more durable than the iPad 10.9 thanks to its slim but sturdy body.

Amazon is also releasing a set of accessories for the tablet, such as a magnetic keyboard and stylus.

Deliveries of the Fire Max 11 are due to start in June, but the novelty is already available for $179.99 $229.99, -22% on the official website.
