A new batch of American Bell UH-1Y Venom helicopters has arrived in the Czech Republic.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the Czech Ministry of Defence on its Twitter page. We are talking about two helicopters with the flight numbers 0493 and 0494. The helicopters were delivered to the Czech Republic with the help of the C-17A transport aircraft of the US Air Force. By the way, earlier the Czech Army received 2 such helicopters. A total of 10 Bell UH-1Y Venom will be transferred to the Czech Republic under the 2021 contract. The Czech Defence Ministry bought the US helicopters to replace the Soviet Mi-24/35 and Mi-17/171, which were betrayed to Ukraine.
