Sold! Chinese company NetEase acquired Quantic Dream Studios

Chinese holding company NetEase Games announced the acquisition of 100% of French studio Quantic Dream - the developer of Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human.

It is reported that the company David Cage will retain creative independence and continue to develop and publish those games that it considers necessary, including third-party developers.

At the moment, Quantic Dream is working on an ambitious action game in the Star Wars universe, called Star Wars Eclipse.

The amount of the deal has not yet been announced.
