Spy games on the airwaves: BBC to air audio of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Firewall on Radio 4

A new project in the Splinter Cell universe has been announced.

No, it's not a new game or even a TV series.

Here's What We Know

Mediagigiant BBC announced a radio show Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Firewall, the main character will be the same Sam Fisher.

This time the superspy has the task to recruit and train eight operatives, who are required by the governmental organizations to perform secret operations. But this task will be complicated by the emergence of a hitman associated with Fisher's past.

The audio play consists of 8 half-hour episodes, which will air once a week on Fridays on the British radio station BBC Radio 4. The first episode will air Dec. 2.

The role of Sam Fisher will be played by Andonis Anthony, whose voice can be heard in many parts of Assassin's Creed. Sam's daughter Sarah will be played by Daisy Head. Other characters will be voiced by Rosalie Crag, Sacha Dhawan, Nikesh Patel and Will Poulter.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Splinter Cell franchise, Ubisoft showed screenshots of the remake of the first part of the spy series for the first time the first Splinter Cell, and the developers recently published the first screenshots of the project.

Netflix is working on an animated series based on the Splinter Cell universe.
