Enjoying the game: journalists share their first impressions of Wild Hearts and show the first minutes of the action

A few days before release, journalists from leading gaming portals got early access to the action-RPG Wild Hearts from Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo and gave us their first impressions.

Here's What We Know

Experts are unanimous that the game is a success.

Yes, it is similar to a number of similar games, such as Monster Hunter, but it also has significant differences that set it apart from its competitors.

The authors of Polygon compared Wild Hearts to Death Stranding in terms of the social interaction between the players: the built hunting gadgets of the gamers not only help their character, but also help out other players. This action element is noted by all reviewers, they believe that building will be a major feature of Wild Hearts and will greatly diversify the gameplay.

Windows Central reviewer noticed that the new action-RPG does not have a lot of weapons (8), but they are well thought out and equally effective. A monster hunter can use the weapon of his preference in battle.

A journalist for PC Gamer claims that Wild Hearts suffers from monster monstrosity. In his opinion, they are often repetitive and this is a big problem as the game can quickly become boring. Perhaps the developers will add new Kemono in updates.

IGN emphasizes the open-world beauty and liveliness of Wild Hearts. It is fun to navigate and the game is aesthetically pleasing.

All the aforementioned titles have published their reactions to the game on their websites, and we bring you the IGN trailer, which shows the first 24 minutes of Wild Hearts.

When We Can Expect It

Wild Hearts will be released on February 17, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
