Honor X40 GT Racing Edition - Snapdragon 888, 50MP camera and 144Hz display priced from $245

As expected, Honor has announced a special edition of the X40 GT for October 2022. The new smartphone is called Honor X40 GT Racing Edition.

Here's What We Know

We assumed that the Racing Edition version would differ from the original model only in terms of memory capacity. And so it happened. Instead of the 8/256GB and 12/256GB modifications, the 12/256GB and 12/512GB variants are now available to buyers.

Honor X40 GT Racing Edition retained the Snapdragon 888 processor, which is about to turn two years old. The battery capacity was 4800 mA*h and the fast charging power is 66W. Wireless charging is not supported.

The smartphone is equipped with a Full HD+ display based on LCD panel. The screen has a diagonal of 6.81" and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The resolution of the main camera is 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP and the front camera is 16 MP.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition is priced at $245 / $275 depending on the amount of inbuilt storage. The original model went on sale last year at a price starting at $290. The novelty is available in Racing Black, Racing Silver and Midnight Black colours.
