In October 2022, Honor announced the X40 GT smartphone (pictured above). Almost a year later, the Racing Edition version will premiere.

Here's What We Know

The Chinese company published a poster that reveals the date of presentation of the novelty - September 21, 2023. We can also see that the design has not changed much compared to the original model. The regular Honor X40 GT in one of the versions also had a vertical stripe across the entire back side.

Honor is not revealing the specifications of the smartphone, but if they don't change compared to the original model, the Racing Edition version will get a 144Hz display, a 50MP camera and a Snapdragon 888 processor. The battery capacity will be 4800 mA*h.

The Honor X40 GT goes on sale in 8/256GB and 12/256GB variants, priced at around $290 and $335 respectively. The JD.com shop indicates that the Racing Edition version will get 12GB of RAM and 512GB of memory.
