In its first week, Wonka's film grossed $43 million at the global box office

Although Wonka will be released in the US on 15 December, the film is already available in 37 countries, which helped it earn a good amount of money last week.

Here's What We Know

Wonka has already managed to collect $43.2 million. In the UK alone, the film earned $11.1 million, which is the second best result for Warner Bros. in 2023 after Barbie.

But in China, the film grossed very little - $3.2 million. However, this week's debut in the US and 40 other countries will help the film to take the box office again over the weekend.
