Wonka grossed $254 million at the global box office in less than a month

Just last week, Wonka grossed $39 million in its first weekend in the US. But in early December, the film was released in cinemas in 37 countries, helping it earn $112 million. However, over the last weekend, the musical managed to collect even more.

As recently as 18 December, the film could boast of earning $150 million worldwide, but now this number has grown to $254 million.

This amount was raised in less than 20 days, which is a good result considering the film's budget of $120 million.
