Blizzard has announced that the popular action-RPG Diablo IV will be released on Steam on the 17th of October, simultaneously with the launch of Season of Blood.

However, this is not the only news for users of Valve's ecosystem.

Blizzard Community Manager Adam Fletcher announced that Diablo IV will become fully compatible with the Steam Deck handheld console on the same day.

We have been hearing some questions regarding Steam Deck verification for #DiabloIV.

We can happily say that Diablo IV will be Steam Deck Verified ✅ starting next Tuesday with the launch of the game on Steam and the start of Season of Blood!

Judging by the patch on the game's Steam page, Valve's experts have already conducted all the necessary testing and guarantee that Diablo IV works correctly on this device.
