Owners of Samsung Fold 3 bendable smartphones have started reporting cracks in the display. What's common in their reports is that the damage occurs for no reason and shortly after the warranty expires.

Often the cracks appear in the centre of the main screen and go all the way across the panel. You can see what this looks like in reality in the photos below. The pictures were posted by Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 owners on Reddit.

One of the users claims that she contacted Samsung support after encountering the malfunction. There, she was recommended UBreakiFix service. It turned out that the cost of replacing the display is $800. At the same time the new smartphone is now available in the U.S. for $965 in the modification with 256GB of memory on the official website of Samsung.

Another user reported that the service centre specialists found the impact site and broken pixels after examining the Samsung Galaxy Fold 3. He was offered to pay $700 to replace the screen.

Smartphone owners who encountered the problem claim that their devices did not fall down and the cracks started appearing during one of the screen openings.
