Tesla wants to use thousands of Tesla Bot robots in its factories

Tesla plans to use thousands of robots in its facilities. This became known after the publication of a list of jobs for the Tesla Bot program.

Here's What We Know

Such announcements have become commonplace for ordinary people, as science fiction has long talked about robots, flying cars and other futuristic technologies. The announcement of the Tesla Bot, which took place in 2021, was perceived by many as a joke. However, the company of Elon Musk decisively approached this project.

According to the American billionaire, the development of humanoids is one of the priorities in the activities of Tesla. In this regard, the manufacturer has postponed to 2023 to implement some projects, so a humanoid robot named Optimus was ready by the end of 2022.

Elon Musk is confident that the Tesla Bot program will be able to benefit the global economy. The company wouldn't even have to look for buyers to do this. It could use Optimus robots in its own enterprises. The humanoids will automate monotonous work and repetitive tasks.

That is what the first version of the robotic device will be focused on. It is expected that a working prototype will be demonstrated this week - September 30 at the AI Day event.
