Insider: Xiaomi launches a budget smartphone Redmi 12C in Europe for €170-200

Xiaomi revealed the budget smartphone Redmi 12C in China at the end of 2022, and is now preparing the novelty for a global market release.

Here's What We Know

According to an insider, the device will debut in Europe at MWC 2023 at the end of February. The smartphone will be available in two memory modifications: a basic 3/64GB for €170 and a top-of-the-line 4/128GB for €200.

As for the device's specifications, they will be the same as the model for China. The novelty will get a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS display with a teardrop cutout, a 5 MP front-facing camera, a main camera with a 50 MP main sensor, a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and a 5000 mAh battery.

Incidentally, the Redmi 12C will be launched under the POCO brand in some countries.
