Ice Universe: iPhone 15 Pro Max gets the thinnest bezel on any smartphone today

Authoritative insider Ice Universe has shared new details about future smartphones in the iPhone 15 range. This time the information concerns the thickness of the bezel around the display.

Here's What We Know

If the insider is to be believed, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will set a record for frame thickness - it will be just 1.55mm. By comparison, the current iPhone 14 Pro Max has a bezel thickness of 2.17mm, while the Galaxy 22 and S23 are around 1.95mm. Meanwhile, the current record belongs to the Xiaomi 13 with a thickness of 1.81 mm.

This seems to apply to the iPhone 15 Pro as well, with CAD renders also showing thinner bezels.

Also among the major changes to the iPhone 15 smartphones there are the Dynamic Island cutout on all four models and the USB-C port instead of Lightning.
