vivo Pad 2 - tablet with Dimensity 9000, 144Hz IPS display and 10,000mAh priced from $350

Along with the X Flip and X Fold 2 smartphones, vivo has unveiled a tablet. It is called the vivo Pad 2. Judging by the price and parameters, it will try to compete with the recent Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

Here's What We Know

You can guess from the name that the vivo Pad 2 is the second tablet in the Chinese company's range. It is meant to replace the first generation model, which was unveiled and went on sale in April 2022.

The newcomer retains the interfaces, four speakers, an 8MP front-facing camera and a 13MP main camera from its predecessor. The company has dropped the 8MP ultra-wide-angle module. Its place has been taken by a useless 2 MP sensor.

The rest of the specs have been improved. The vivo Pad 2 is equipped with a Dimensity 9000 processor instead of the Snapdragon 870 and got up to 512GB of internal storage. Battery capacity has been increased from 8,040mAh to 10,000mAh. The fast charging power is unchanged at 44W.

The tablet is equipped with IPS LCD display. The diagonal compared to its predecessor has increased from 11" to 12.1", while the refresh rate has increased from 120Hz to 144Hz. The LCD screen has a resolution of 1800 x 2800 pixels.

The model measures 266 x 191.6 x 6.6 mm and weighs 580 g. The body of the device is made of aluminum. There is no water protection. Also worth mentioning is the stylus support and Android 13 operating system with OriginOS 3 HD firmware.
