The United States continues its hunt for UFOs. After destroying a Chinese balloon on Feb. 4, an F-22 Raptor fighter UFO hunt: F-22 Raptor Sidewinder missiles destroy two unidentified flying objects over the US and Canada last weekend. A fourth-generation F-16 Fighting Falcon also marked the day before.

Here's What We Know

On February 12, the third unidentified flying object in two days was destroyed. An AIM-9X Sidewinder air-to-air missile was again used for elimination, but it was launched by an F-16 Fighting Falcon rather than an F-22 Raptor.

The UFO was shot down on the orders of US President Joe Biden after the White House chief examined the country's Defence Department's recommendations. Pentagon officials added that the aircraft, which was detected by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the morning of February 12, could potentially have been observing.

The United States leadership did not see a military threat from the aerial object, which, incidentally, was shaped like an octagon. However, at an altitude of about 6km, it posed a threat to civil aviation.
