The Dutch Army has received the first batch of Israeli PULS multiple rocket launchers into service

Elbit Systems has handed over the first batch of PULS multiple rocket launchers to the Netherlands.

Here's What We Know

Photos of the installations were published on the social network Twitter. What quantity the first batch includes is still unknown, but most likely it is 3-4 systems.

Incidentally, the Netherlands has ordered a total of 20 PULS multiple rocket launchers from Elbit Systems for $305,000,000. Four of the systems will be integrated on Tatra Force 815-7 chassis and the rest on Scania Gryphus 8×8 chassis. The contract is for five years.

Flashback

PULS (Precise & Universal Launching System) is an Israeli multiple rocket launcher manufactured by Elbit Systems. It is an improved version of the Lynx MLRS. The launcher was developed in 2018. PULS is available in different modifications. The system has two containers that are capable of carrying different types of missiles. The maximum range of target engagement reaches 300 kilometres (with Predator Hawk ballistic missiles).
