Microsoft has revealed the first selection of 36 games that will be included in the Xbox Game Pass Core catalogue. Xbox Live Gold service officially ceases to exist today

Today (14 September), the Xbox Live Gold service officially ceases to exist and will be replaced by the Xbox Game Pass Core subscription.

The main difference between Xbox Game Pass Core will be a significantly increased number of games. If Live Gold offered 2 free games per month, then in Xbox Game Pass Core users will have access to dozens of games with their replacement 2-3 times a year.

Game Pass Core will cost $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
